The College Bowl Season kicks off today with the LA Bowl, and we have a rarity these days as both teams are expected to maintain the majority of their core rosters, which means minimal disruption from transfers or opt-outs. Given the stability of both squads, and the fact that they have nothing to lose, we expect a wide-open risk-taking approach from both coaches, which should result in a high-scoring game. Washington’s offense is expected to be much healthier, benefiting from a bye week, and key players like running back Jonah Coleman and wide receiver Denzel Boston are motivated to play, with Coach Jedd Fisch stating he expects all healthy starters to suit up. On the opposite side, the Broncos’ offense will also be largely intact, featuring quarterback Maddux Madsen and the dynamic backfield trio of Dylan Riley, Sire Gaines, and Malik Sherrod. The Broncos have gone 10-5 to the over the last three seasons in non-conference games, including an appearance in the LA Bowl back in 2023 that soared over the total with 67 points scored, while the Huskies went 6-3 to the over this season as a favorite and a perfect 3-0 to the over in non-conference games. With ideal conditions, this one is primed to be a high-scoring affair!
